rules

pursuant

to

chapter

17A

activities

administration

authorization.

rules

must

require

an

applicant

for

the

activities

administration

authorization

to

hold

a

baccalaureate

degree

or

higher

in

any

academic

field.

bill

modifies

provisions

related

to

the

activities

authorization

BOEE

has

established

the

activities

administration

authorization

by

administrative

rule.

Under

current

rule,

an

applicant

for

the

authorization

must

have

a

baccalaureate

degree

or

higher

related

to

athletics,

physical

education,

or

a

related

field.

The

bill

provides

that

an

applicant

for

the

authorization

must

have

a

baccalaureate

degree

or

higher

in

any

field.
