basketball

tournament

as

the

number

one

seed,

which

it

held

throughout

the

season;

and

WHEREAS,

Kirkwood

this

season

won

their

fifth

10

consecutive

Region

tournament

title,

regular

season

11

championship,

and

district

title;

and

WHEREAS,

Kirkwood

set

an

NJCAA

Division

II

record

13

with

an

incredible

54-game

win

streak

over

the

past

two

14

seasons

while

extending

their

home

winning

streak

to

15

74

games;

and

WHEREAS,

Kirkwood,

after

winning

the

national

17

championship

in

2024,

finished

the

2025

season

with

a

remarkable

33-2

record

for

a

fourth

place

finish;

and

WHEREAS,

sophomore

Jenna

Twedt

was

named

to

the

2025

NJCAA

Division

II

National

Tournament

All-Tournament

Team

for

her

stellar

performance

throughout

the

tournament,

and

for

a

second

consecutive

season;

WHEREAS,

Kim

Muhl

continued

his

remarkable

35-season

run

as

head

coach

of

the

Eagles,

leading

all

NJCAA

women’s

basketball

coaches

in

career

victories;
