AN ACT
PROVIDING FOR INTERVENTION BY MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN
PROCEEDINGS FOR JUDICIAL REVIEW OF AGENCY ACTION UNDER THE
IOWA ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE ACT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1. NEW SECTION . 17A.19A Intervention by members
of the general assembly.
The majority leader of the senate, the minority leader of the
senate, the speaker of the house of representatives, and the
minority leader of the house of representatives may each

intervene in a proceeding for judicial review of agency action
under section 17A.19. Other members of the general assembly
may join a motion to intervene filed pursuant to this section.
