Senator

Jack

Whitver

was

first

elected

to

the

Iowa

Senate

where

he

served

in

multiple

leadership

roles

representing

his

constituents;

and

5

WHEREAS,

Senator

Whitver

is

a

proud

lifelong

Iowan,

6

having

grown

up

in

Grinnell

and

then

graduating

from

7

the

Iowa

State

University

of

Science

and

Technology

8

where

he

started

as

a

wide

receiver

on

the

Cyclones

9

football

team

and

finished

his

playing

career

ranked

in

10

the

team’s

top

10

for

all-time

career

receptions

and

11

receiving

yards;

and

WHEREAS,

immediately

following

his

graduation

from

Iowa

State

University

having

earned

both

a

Bachelor

Science

a

Master
