AN ACT concerning education; relating to school finance; extending the
expiration date of the Kansas school equity and enhancement act from
2027 to 2028; amending K.S.A. 72-5176 and repealing the existing
section.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
Section 1. K.S.A. 72-5176 is hereby amended to read as follows: 72-
5176. The Kansas school equity and enhancement act, K.S.A. 72-5131
through 72-5176, and amendments thereto, shall expire on July 1, 2027
2028.
Sec. 2. K.S.A. 72-5176 is hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the statute book.
