AN ACT relating to the use of tax dollars by the Governor for international travel. 1
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: 2
SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS CHAPTER 11 IS CREATED TO 3
READ AS FOLLOWS: 4
The Governor shall submit a written request to the Kentucky State Treasurer for 5
permission to use tax dollars for international travel. The request shall articulate how 6
the international travel will yield a benefit to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Tax 7
dollars shall not be used for international travel by the Governor without the Kentucky 8
State Treasurer's approval. 9
