A RESOLUTION honoring the survivors of crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein 1
and his co-conspirators. 2
WHEREAS, for decades, numerous individuals were subjected to a systematic and 3
predatory network of sexual exploitation and human trafficking orchestrated by Jeffrey 4
Epstein; and 5
WHEREAS, the survivors of these heinous crimes have demonstrated extraordinary 6
courage by coming forward to tell their stories, a selfless ac t that has exposed the hidden 7
realities of human trafficking; and 8
WHEREAS, the personal accounts of survivors have been the primary catalyst for 9
uncovering the truth and demanding accountability for those who facilitated or ignored 10
the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators; and 11
WHEREAS, by sharing their stories, these survivors have paved a path toward 12
healing and empowered fellow survivors of sexual abuse and human trafficking; and 13
WHEREAS, the House of Representatives commends the survivors fo r their 14
bravery and willingness to speak the truth, often at great personal risk and in the face of 15
public scrutiny; 16
NOW, THEREFORE, 17
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the 18
Commonwealth of Kentucky: 19
Section 1. The House of Representatives hereby recognizes and honors the 20
survivors of the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking network for their courage and resilience in the 21
face of incomprehensible harm. 22
Section 2. The House of Representatives stands in solidarity with all survivors 23
of sexual abuse and human trafficking, affirming that their stories deserve to be heard and 24
their healing is a priority for this Commonwealth. 25
Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit a 26
copy of this Resolution to Representative Mary Lou Marzian. 27
