WHEREAS, Robert Conley Young was a son of the Commonwealth, and a 3
longtime resident of Manchester; and 4
WHEREAS, Robert Conley Young was the loving and beloved son of the late 5
Conley and Lucy Young; and 6
WHEREAS, Robert Conley Young was the loving and beloved husband of Shawn 7
Allen Young; father of Robert "Robbie" Young, Jr., Katelyn n (Skyler) Roach, and the 8
late Charles Anthony "Nickie" Young; grandfather of Trenton (Madison), Ryleigh, and 9
Ashley's daughters, Macey and Emma; brother of John Wayne (Debbie) Landrum, 10
Anthony Phil (Teresa) Young, Wanda Lavonne Anderson, Charles Michael ( Kay) 11
Young, and Flora Ruth Young; and 12
WHEREAS, Robert Conley Young was completely dedicated to his family; it is 13
evident that he enjoyed every minute in which he was in their company; and 14
WHEREAS, Robert Conley Young was a much beloved and vital member of his 15
home community; and 16
WHEREAS, Robert Conley Young passed from this life on December 14, 2025, 17
leaving those who will deeply mourn their loss, to join those who have passed before him 18
in a joyful reunion; 19
NOW, THEREFORE, 20
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 21
Kentucky: 22
Section 1. The Senate expresses its most profound sympathy on the passing of 23
Robert Conley Young and extends heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and 24
community. 25
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and 26
honor of Robert Conley Young. 27
