WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise was born on December 5, 1947, in Marion County, 3
Kentucky, to the late Chester "Bill" Wise and Dorothy Thompson Wise; and 4
WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise married the love of his live, Sue Antle on July 20, 5
1982; and 6
WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise was a devoted family man of tremendous integrity 7
and compassion and a highly regarded resident of Campbellsville; and 8
WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise enjoyed a wonderful career as a CPA and established 9
the firm currently known as Wise, Buckner, Sprowles & Associates. He was also the 10
former president of United Citizens Bank, where he continued t o serve as a consultant 11
until his passing; and 12
WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise was a pillar of the community and a man truly 13
dedicated to civic service. He was a long -time member of the Campbellsville Board of 14
Education and was actively involved with the Campbellsville Jaycees; and 15
WHEREAS, in his spare time, C. Ronald Wise was an avid golfer, a card shark, and 16
an adventurous traveler, and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was 17
a lifelong lover of music and always sang from his heart. What he ma y have lacked in 18
skill as a singer, he more than made up for with his tireless warmth and enthusiasm; and 19
WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise was a devout Christian who attended Bethel First 20
Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville; and 21
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, C. Ronald Wise departed this earthly 22
life at the age of 77; and 23
WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise is survived by his cherished wife, Sue Wise; beloved 24
daughters, Melissa (Alfred) Ellis, Pat (Mike) Watson, and Mackenzie (Craig) Wahl; 25
grandchildren, Jacob (Kayla) Ellis, Ethan Ellis, Seth (Anastasia) Ellis, Moriah (Andrew) 26
Konvalin, John Samuel Ellis, Julia (Allen) Miller, RuthAnna Ellis, Sarah Ellis, Micah 27

great-grandchildren; brother, George (Donna) Wise; brother -in-law, Larry G. Cox; and a 2
host of other family members, friends, and loved ones; and 3
WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Cox; and 4
WHEREAS, C. Ronald Wise wi ll be remembered for the many and generous 5
contributions he made to his family, friends, and community, and he will be deeply 6
missed by all whose lives were touched by his presence; 7
NOW, THEREFORE, 8
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of th e Commonwealth of 9
Kentucky: 10
Section 1. The members of the Senate hereby express their most profound 11
sympathy upon the passing of C. Ronald Wise and extend heartfelt condolences to his 12
family, friends, and community. 13
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in h onor and loving 14
memory of C. Ronald Wise. 15
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 16
Resolution to Senator Max Wise for delivery to the family. 17
