A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Nicholas Pace to the Education 1
Professional Standards Board. 2
WHEREAS, on September 11, 2025, in accordance with KRS 161.0 28 and by 3
virtue of Executive Order 2025-574, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Nicholas Pace to 4
the Education Professional Standards Board to replace Amy Lingo for a term expiring 5
June 30, 2026; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Nicholas Pace has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
161.028, representing postsecondary institutions; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Nicholas Pace to the 13
Education Professional Standards Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Nicholas Pace of Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, 16
and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 17
40601. 18
