A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Wilton Currie Milliken to the 1
Western Kentucky University Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2025, in accordance w ith KRS 164.321 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025-453, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Wilton Currie Milliken 4
to the Western Kentucky University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 2031; 5
and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Wilton Currie Milliken has been determined to meet the requirements 8
of KRS 164.321; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Wilton Currie 13
Milliken to the Western Kentucky University Board of Regents. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Wilton Currie Milliken of Bowling Green, Warren County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, 17
Kentucky 40601. 18
