A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Michael R. Eaves to the Eastern 1
Kentucky University Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2025, in accordance with KR S 164.321 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025-454, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Michael R. Eaves to the 4
Eastern Kentucky University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 2031; and 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Michael R. Eaves has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 164.321; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Michael R. Eaves 12
to the Eastern Kentucky University Board of Regents. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Michael R. Eaves of Richmond, Madison County, 15
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, 16
Kentucky 40601. 17
