A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of John Hollenbach to the University 1
of Louisville Board of Trustees. 2
WHEREAS, on April 15, 2025, in accordance with KRS 164 .821 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025 -230, Governor Andy Beshear appointed John Hollenbach to the 4
University of Louisville Board of Trustees to replace Diane Medley for a term expiring 5
April 14, 2031; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, John Hollenbach has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 164.821; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of John Hollenbach to 13
the University of Louisville Board of Trustees. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to John Hollenbach of Louisville, Jefferson County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, 17
Kentucky 40601. 18
