A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Andrew Wood to the Public 1
Service Commission. 2
WHEREAS, on July 2, 2025, in accordance with KRS 278.050 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025 -413, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Andrew Wood to the 4
Public Service Commission to replace John Will Stacy, who was not confirmed, to serve 5
the remainder of the term expiring July 1, 2028; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Andrew Wood has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
278.060; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate confirms the appointment of Andrew Wood to the Public 13
Service Commission. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Andrew Wood of Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky, and 16
to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
