A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Matthew Grimshaw to the 1
Kentucky State University Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2025, in accordance with KRS 164 .321 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025-458, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Matthew Grimshaw to the 4
Kentucky State University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 2030; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Matthew Grimshaw has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 164.321; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Matthew Grimshaw 12
to the Kentucky State University Board of Regents. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its ado ption to Matthew Grimshaw of Lexington, Fayette County, 15
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, 16
Kentucky 40601. 17
