A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Edward Hatchett to the 1
Kentucky State University Board of Regents. 2
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2025, in accordance with KRS 16 4.321 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025-458, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Edward Hatchett to the 4
Kentucky State University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 2031; and 5
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Edward Hatchett has been determined to meet the requirements of 7
KRS 164.321; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Edward Hatchett to 12
the Kentucky State University Board of Regents. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its ad option to Edward Hatchett of Glasgow, Barren County, Kentucky, 15
and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
40601. 17
