A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Elaine Wilson to the University 1
of Kentucky Board of Trustees. 2
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2025, in accordance with KRS 164.131 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025 -457, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Elaine Wilson to the 4
University of Kentucky Board of Trustees for a term expiring June 30, 2027; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Elaine Wilson has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
164.131; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Elaine Wilson to the 12
University of Kentucky Board of Trustees. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Elaine Wilson of Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky, and 15
to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
