A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Lanola Parsons to the Crime 1
Victims Compensation Board. 2
WHEREAS, on July 2, 2025, in accordance with KRS 49.020 and b y virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025 -414, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Lanola Parsons to the 4
Crime Victims Compensation Board to serve as chair for a term expiring July 1, 2029; 5
and 6
WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Lanola Parsons has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 8
49.020; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Lanola Parsons to 13
the Crime Victims Compensation Board. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of its adoption to Lanola Parsons of Baxter, Harlan County, Kentucky, and to 16
Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 17
