A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Steve Kelly to the Kentucky State 1
Fair Board. 2
WHEREAS, on May 19, 2025, in accordance with KRS 247.090 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025 -005, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed Steve Kelly to the 4
Kentucky State Fair Board for a term expiring May 19, 2029; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Steve Kelly has been determined to me et the requirements of KRS 7
247.090, representing agriculture and related businesses; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Steve Kelly to the 12
Kentucky State Fair Board. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Steve Kelly of Lawrenceburg, Anderson County, Kentucky, 15
and to Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 16
40601. 17
