A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Fritz Giesecke to the Kentucky 1
Agricultural Development Board. 2
WHEREAS, on July 6, 2025, in accordance with KRS 248.707 a nd by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2025-008, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed Fritz Giesecke to the 4
Kentucky Agricultural Development Board for a term expiring July 6, 2029; and 5
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 6
WHEREAS, Fritz Giesecke has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 7
248.707, representing Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation; 8
NOW, THEREFORE, 9
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 10
Kentucky: 11
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Fritz Giesecke to the 12
Kentucky Agricultural Development Board. 13
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 14
notification of its adoption to Fritz Giesecke of Hart County, Kentucky, and to 15
Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. 16
