A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Jonathan Rabinowitz to the 1
Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation. 2
WHEREAS, on March 24, 2026, in accordance with KRS 230.227 and by virtue of 3
Executive Order 2026 -132, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Jonathan Rabinowitz to 4
the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation and as chair of the corporation for a 5
term expiring on July 1, 2029; and 6
WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and 7
WHEREAS, Jonathan Rabinowitz has been determined to meet the requirements of 8
KRS 230.227, representing the Thoroughbred industry; 9
NOW, THEREFORE, 10
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwea lth of 11
Kentucky: 12
Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Jonathan Rabinowitz 13
to the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation. 14
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and 15
notification of it s adoption to Jonathan Rabinowitz of Versailles, Woodford County, 16
Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capitol Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, 17
Kentucky 40601. 18
