A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Tatum 1
Elizabeth Dale. 2
WHEREAS, Tatum Elizabeth Dale was born in Murray, Kentucky, on May 10, 3
1990, to Bill and Ellen Dale; and 4
WHEREAS, Tatum Elizabeth Dale was a proud graduate of Calloway County High 5
School and the University of Kentucky; and 6
WHEREAS, after graduating college, Tatum Elizabeth Dale volunteered to work on 7
Congressman Andy Barr's first congressional campaign and continued to work for him 8
for the next 15 years, where she would go on to hold almost every position in the Barr 9
congressional office including: Scheduler, Field Representative, Deputy District Director, 10
District Director, and most recently, Deputy Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager; and 11
WHEREAS, Tatum Elizabeth Dale was an extraordinary young woman with a 12
servant's heart and the capacity to love and make people feel special. She had the ability 13
to connect with people and get to know them in a way that was genuine and from the 14
heart; and 15
WHEREAS, Tatum Elizabeth Dale was a devout servant of the Lord, and a member 16
of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, where she found a passion for 17
mission work. She also chaperoned c ountless Honor Flights carrying veterans to 18
Washington D.C.; and 19
WHEREAS, Tatum Elizabeth Dale had an endearing love for her family. She 20
understood the blessing of family and showed her love constantly in big and small ways; 21
and 22
WHEREAS, Tatum Elizabeth Da le passed away on December 24, 2025, at the 23
University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was preceded in 24
death by her grandparents, J.C. "Billy" and Cora Elizabeth "Libby" Mahan and Rev. B.G. 25
and Doris Dale, and her uncle, Joe "Skip" Ginn; and 26
WHEREAS, Tatum Elizabeth Dale is survived by her parents, Bill and Ellen Dale; 27

two brothers, Leighton (Amy) Dale and Nolan Dale and his fiancé, Syd Petonic; 1
cherished nieces, Libby Tate and Edie James Dale; aunts and uncles, David and Becky 2
Ginn, Tim and S onya Ginn, Dianne Lee, Lisa and Doug Steele, Pam and Barry Albright, 3
and Bruce and Deb Dale; many beloved cousins; and her constant four -legged 4
companion, Henry; 5
NOW, THEREFORE, 6
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 7
Kentucky: 8
Section 1. The Senate hereby extends its most profound sympathy upon the 9
passing of Tatum Elizabeth Dale and expresses heartfelt condolences to her family and 10
community in this time of loss. 11
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving 12
memory of Tatum Elizabeth Dale. 13
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 14
Resolution to Senator Greg Elkins for delivery to the family. 15
