A RESOLUTION honoring Elder Nathan Craig and his wife, Sister Amy Craig, 1
upon their calling to serve the Ghana Accra South Mission. 2
WHEREAS, Elder Nathan Craig and his wife, Sister Amy Craig, are esteemed 3
residents of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who have consistently demonstrated a profound 4
commitment to faith, family, and the service of others; and 5
WHEREAS, Elder Craig has served with high distinction as an Area Sevent y for 6
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints, providing vital spiritual guidance and 7
administrative leadership for the Southeast region of the United States; and 8
WHEREAS, a respected member of the Kentucky Bar Association and partner at 9
Richardson & Craig, Elder Nathan Craig has balanced a successful professional career 10
with significant ecclesiastical responsibilities, including his previous service as President 11
of the Hopkinsville Kentucky Stake; and 12
WHEREAS, Elder Nathan Craig and Sister Amy Crai g have accepted a sacred 13
three-year call to lead the Ghana Accra South Mission, a transition that will see them 14
depart their home in the Commonwealth to provide leadership and mentorship to 15
hundreds of young missionaries in West Africa; and 16
WHEREAS, their willingness to set aside their professional and personal pursuits in 17
Kentucky to engage in global humanitarian and spiritual service is a testament to their 18
character and the values of the Bluegrass State; and 19
WHEREAS, the Senate of the Commonwealth of Ken tucky recognizes the 20
significant impact the Craigs have had on the moral and social fabric of Christian County 21

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of 24
Kentucky: 25
Section 1. The members of the Senate, both individually and collectively, do 26
hereby recognize and commend Elder Nathan Craig and Sister Amy Craig for their 27

exemplary service to the people of Kentucky and the Southeast region. 1
Section 2. The Senate extends its most sincere congratulations to Elder Nathan 2

wishes them safety and success as they represent the best of Kentucky’s spirit on the 4
international stage. 5
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this 6
