2 To amend and reenact R.S. 14:99(A), relative to reckless operation of a vehicle; to provide
3 for behavior which constitutes reckless operation of a vehicle; and to provide for
4 related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 14:99(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 §99. Reckless operation of a vehicle
8 A. Reckless operation of a vehicle is any of the following:
9 (1) the The operation of any motor vehicle, aircraft, vessel, or other means
10 of conveyance in a criminally negligent or reckless manner.
11 (2) The operation of a motor vehicle at or above one hundred miles per hour.
