1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 18:1483(26), relative to the Campaign Finance Disclosure Act;
3 to provide for definitions; to provide for the definition of "primary purpose"; and to
4 provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 18:1483(26) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 §1483. Definitions
8 As used in this Chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings given
9 to each in this Section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

11 (26) "Primary purpose" means the purpose of making contributions or
12 expenditures that constitute the preponderance more than fifty percent of the
13 association, political party, an entity's or group's spending during a calendar year.
