1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 17:5067.1, relative to financial aid; to provide relative to the Taylor
3 Opportunity Program for Students; to provide relative to student data; to require the
4 establishment of a data administration system; to require certain postsecondary
5 education institutions to report certain data; and to provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 17:5067.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
8 §5067.1. Data administration system
9 The administering agency shall establish and maintain a data administration
10 system for the collection of uniform data on all state financial aid programs to
11 conduct and report on statewide financial aid trends, effectiveness, outcomes
12 assessment, and other factors. The administering agency shall determine the uniform
13 data set necessary for such reports. Any postsecondary education institution that
14 admits students who are recipients of Taylor Opportunity Program for Students
15 awards shall submit to the administering agency the uniform data set as established
16 pursuant to this Section.
