intelligence into an existing course of study for each student in grades six through
twelve
1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 17:280.4, relative to curricula; to provide relative to required instruction for
3 certain public school students; to require instruction on artificial intelligence; and to
4 provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 17:280.4 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 §280.4. Artificial intelligence; required instruction
8 A. Each public school shall incorporate instruction on artificial intelligence
9 into an existing course of study for students in grades six through twelve.
10 B. The State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education shall
11 promulgate rules as necessary for the implementation of this Section in accordance
12 with the Administrative Procedure Act.
