BY REPRESENTATIVE WYBLE AND SENATOR MIZELL
1 AN ACT
2 To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 10 in Washington Parish as the "Veterans Park
3 Memorial Highway"; to provide for implementation; and to provide for related
4 matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 10 beginning at the Washington-
7 Tangipahoa parish line and extending east to the Louisiana-Mississippi state line shall be
8 known and is hereby designated as the "Veterans Park Memorial Highway".
9 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby directed
10 to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation provided local or private
11 monies are received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material,
12 fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of the signage, not to exceed the sum of seven
13 hundred fifty dollars per sign.
