1 AN ACT
2 To designate the elevated portion of Louisiana Highway 315, commonly referred to as the
3 Bayou Dularge Bascule Bridge, over the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in Terrebonne
4 Parish, city of Houma, as the "Elward T. Brady, Jr. Memorial Bridge"; to provide for
5 implementation; and to provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. The elevated portion of Louisiana Highway 315, commonly referred to
8 as the Bayou Dularge Bascule Bridge, over the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in Terrebonne
9 Parish, city of Houma, shall be known and is hereby designated as the "Elward T. Brady, Jr.
10 Memorial Bridge".
11 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
12 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
13 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
14 actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of the signage, not to
15 exceed the sum of seven hundred fifty dollars per sign.
