1 AN ACT
2 To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 433 in Slidell, Louisiana, as the "Charles R.
3 Bordelon, Sr., Memorial Highway"; to provide for implementation; and to provide
4 for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 433 in Slidell, Louisiana, beginning
7 at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 433 and Vaultz Road and ending at the intersection
8 of Louisiana Highway 433 and Pinehurst Boulevard, shall be known and is hereby
9 designated as the "Charles R. Bordelon, Sr., Memorial Highway".
10 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
11 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
12 approximately eight hundred fifty feet west of Marilyn Drive and facing traffic traveling
13 southeast, provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the
14 department's actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of the
15 signage, not to exceed the sum of seven hundred fifty dollars per sign.
