BY REPRESENTATIVES BUTLER, BAGLEY, BAYHAM, COATES, DEWITT,
CHANCE HENRY, KNOX, MCMAHEN, AND WYBLE
1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 3:3372(E)(2), relative to the enforcement procedures of the
3 Structural Pest Control Commission; to provide relative to notice requirements
4 applicable to an adjudicatory hearing held by the commission; and to provide for
5 related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 3:3372(E)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
8 §3372. Enforcement

10 E. Civil penalties may be assessed, probation may be imposed, and permits,
11 licenses, and registrations may be suspended or revoked only by a ruling of the
12 commission based on an adjudicatory hearing held in accordance with the
13 Administrative Procedure Act and the following special provisions:

15 (2) The commission shall notify the alleged violator by certified mail at least
16 thirty days prior to the date the hearing is held in accordance with the provisions of
17 the Administrative Procedure Act.
