MTR VEHICLE/PUBLIC: Requires the office of motor vehicles to educate the public on
the use of roundabouts
1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 32:402.1(G), relative to educating the public on roundabouts; to require the
3 office of motor vehicles to create educational materials for dissemination to the
4 public on the use of roundabouts as a means of promoting public safety; and to
5 provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 32:402.1(G) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
8 §402.1. Driver education; required

10 G. The office of motor vehicles shall develop a public education and
11 outreach campaign to promote safety and educate the public on the use of
12 roundabouts via written materials, brochures, the Internet, and public service
13 announcements made available to the public.
