2 To amend and reenact R.S. 42:802(D)(2), relative to the authority of the Joint Legislative
3 Committee on the Budget; to provide for the review and approval of certain contract
4 amendments by the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget; and to provide for
5 related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 42:802(D)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:

12 (2) Additionally, any adjustments to such contracts in the amount of one
13 million dollars or more shall require the review and approval of the oversight
14 committees Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget before the modified contracts
15 may be implemented. Such adjustments shall indicate the fiscal impact to the plan
16 of benefits as well as the rate structure, if any, over the subsequent three years or
17 maximum contract period.
