SECURITIES: Provides relative to transfer on death securities
1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 9:1711.6(A), relative to transfer on death security registration;
3 to provide relative to a registering entity; to provide for requirements; and to provide
4 for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 9:1711.6(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 §1711.6. Registering entity
8 A. A registering entity is not required to shall offer or to accept a request for
9 security registration in beneficiary form. If a registration in beneficiary form is
10 offered by a registering entity, the The owner requesting registration in beneficiary
11 form assents to the protections given to the registering entity by this Chapter.
