sexual harassment
1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 42:343(A)(1), relative to training on the prevention of sexual
3 harassment; to provide for mandatory training requirements of elected officials and
4 public employees; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 42:343(A)(1) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 §343. Preventing sexual harassment; mandatory training requirements
8 A.(1)(a) Each public servant employee shall receive a minimum of one hour
9 of education and training on preventing sexual harassment during each full calendar
10 year of his public employment or term of office, as the case may be.
11 (b) Each elected official shall receive a minimum of one hour of education
12 and training on preventing sexual harassment during his term of office.
