2 To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 182 in the city of Jeanerette as the "Berwick
3 'BJ' LeJeune, Jr. Memorial Highway"; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway
4 182 in New Iberia as the "Ret. Judge Richard 'Dickey' Haik, Sr. Highway"; to
5 designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 182 in New Iberia as the "Col. Terry C.
6 Landry, Sr. Highway"; to donate a portion of Louisiana Highway 96 in St.
7 Martinville as the "Phillip 'Poppa' Dauterive III Memorial Highway"; to provide for
8 implementation; and to provide for related matters.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
10 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 182 in the city of Jeanerette, between
11 Hubertville Road and Canal Street, shall be known and is hereby designated as the "Berwick
12 'BJ' LeJeune, Jr. Memorial Highway".
13 Section 2. The portion of Louisiana Highway 182 in the city of New Iberia from
14 South Evangeline Street to Louisiana Highway 3212, shall be known and is hereby
15 designated as the Ret. Judge Richard 'Dickey' Haik, Sr. Highway".
16 Section 3. The portion of Louisiana Highway 182 in New Iberia from Louisiana
17 Highway 3212 to the city limit of Lafayette, shall be known and is hereby designated as the
18 "Col. Terry C. Landry, Sr. Highway".
19 Section 4. The portion of Louisiana Highway 96 in St. Martinville, extending from
20 the Saint Martin Parish Sheriff Regional Training Academy to Freedom Lane, shall be
21 known and is hereby designated as the "Phillip 'Poppa' Dauterive III Memorial Highway".

1 Section 5. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
2 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting these designations
3 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
4 actual cost for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of the signage, not to
5 exceed the sum of seven hundred fifty dollars per sign.
