2 To enact R.S. 13:783(F)(13) and (14), relative to group insurance expenses of the office of
3 the clerk of court; to provide for the payment of group insurance premiums for
4 certain retirees of the Lincoln Parish Clerk of Court; to provide for the payment of
5 group insurance premiums for certain retirees of the Lafourche Parish Clerk of
6 Court; and to provide for related matters.
7 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
8 Section 1. R.S. 13:783(F)(13) and (14) are hereby enacted to read as follows:
9 §783. Expenses of clerk's office

13 (13) The clerk of court of Lincoln Parish shall pay from the clerk's salary
14 fund one hundred percent of the premium costs of the group life and accidental death
15 and dismemberment, group health, accident, dental, hospital, surgical, or other
16 medical expense insurance for any clerk or employee who was a covered employee,
17 who elects to continue coverage, and who retires from the office of the Lincoln
18 Parish Clerk of Court and begins receiving monthly benefits from the Louisiana
19 Clerks' of Court Retirement and Relief Fund immediately upon retirement from
20 active employment with at least twenty years of full-time service with the office of
21 the Lincoln Parish Clerk of Court, and who is at least fifty-five years of age. The

2 supplemental insurance, that an employee may elect to purchase.
