BY REPRESENTATIVE MIKE JOHNSON
A RESOLUTION
To commend Pastor Aaron "AJ" Holloway upon his installation as lead pastor of the Church
of Pentecost in Ball, Louisiana.
WHEREAS, it is most fitting and proper to recognize individuals whose faith,
leadership, and service strengthen their communities; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Aaron "AJ" Holloway has been installed as lead pastor of the
Church of Pentecost in Ball, Louisiana, in 2026; he assumes leadership of a congregation
that has long served the spiritual and community life of Rapides Parish and Central
Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Holloway and his wife, Amanda Holloway, are committed to
strengthening families, building meaningful relationships within the church and community,
and encouraging others through faith and service; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Holloway succeeds Bishop Lonnie Weidner, whose faithful
leadership helped guide and grow the Church of Pentecost and left a lasting legacy within
the congregation and the community; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Holloway is most deserving of the highest recognition as he
begins a new chapter of service and leadership, and the citizens of Rapides Parish are blessed
by the continued ministry of the Church of Pentecost.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Pastor Aaron "AJ" Holloway upon his
installation as lead pastor of the Church of Pentecost in Ball, Louisiana, and does hereby
extend best wishes for continued success in his ministry.
