HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 57

A RESOLUTION
To commend Jensen LeBlanc for being named a National Champion for Children's Miracle
Network.
WHEREAS, it is most fitting to recognize Jensen LeBlanc for promoting the
importance of children's healthcare and to commend him for being named a National
Champion for Children's Miracle Network; and
WHEREAS, Jensen LeBlanc is a vibrant and resilient eleven-year-old resident of
Addis, Louisiana, who has been a patient of Our Lady of the Lake (OLOL) Children's
Hospital since he was seven months old; and
WHEREAS, Jensen is a powerful advocate for pediatric patients, and his heartfelt
efforts have brought awareness to the importance of children's healthcare and the life-
changing impact that OLOL Children's Hospital has made in the greater Baton Rouge area;
and
WHEREAS, through his role as the Children's Miracle Network Champion for
OLOL Children's Hospital, Jensen serves as the main patient ambassador and has become
a local celebrity; he attends community events and corporate partner meetings and shares his
healthcare story and OLOL's impact to promote community and corporate fundraising for
the hospital; and
WHEREAS, Jensen has inspired countless individuals through his outreach efforts
and contributed significantly to increased community involvement and fundraising support
for the hospital's programs and services; and
WHEREAS, Addis Mayor David Toups presented Jensen with a key to the city in
recognition of his remarkable leadership and sense of civic responsibility; and

WHEREAS, Jensen serves as a 2026 National Champion for Children's Miracle
Network; he is one of nineteen patients across the United States who represent all one
hundred seventy local Children's Miracle Network hospitals in the country; and
WHEREAS, Jensen LeBlanc is a truly inspiring young man who is most deserving
of the highest recognition for his work to create positive change in the state and across the
country.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Jensen LeBlanc for being named a National
Champion for Children's Miracle Network; does hereby express enduring appreciation for
his exceptional sense of civic duty in advocating for the importance of children's healthcare;
and does hereby extend sincere wishes that he remain prosperous in all of his endeavors.
