BY REPRESENTATIVES FREEMAN AND FREIBERG
A RESOLUTION
To designate Monday, March 30, 2026, as Ellevate Louisiana Day at the state capitol.
WHEREAS, Ellevate Louisiana is a nonpartisan, statewide organization dedicated
to elevating women's leadership, fostering civic engagement, and advancing policies that
strengthen Louisiana's communities and economy; and
WHEREAS, Since its founding in 2020, Ellevate Louisiana has united women
leaders across sectors to promote dialogue, mutual respect, and cross-partisan collaboration
on key issues; and
WHEREAS, Ellevate Louisiana Day at the state capitol provides an opportunity for
members to engage with legislators and participate in the legislative process.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby designate Monday, March 30, 2026, as Ellevate
Louisiana Day at the state capitol and does hereby commend the organization for its
contributions to the state.
