NURSING HOMES. Provides for an extension to the moratorium for nursing facilities.

1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:2116.1(B)(1), relative to nursing facilities; to extend the
3 moratorium on nursing facilities and additional beds for nursing facilities; and to
4 provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 40:2116.1(B)(1) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 §2116.1. Nursing facilities; facility need review; moratorium; exceptions

9 B.(1) There shall be a moratorium on nursing facilities and additional beds
10 for nursing facilities which shall be in effect until July 1, 2027 2032.
