1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 32:404(F)(1) and to enact R.S. 32:404(G), relative to
3 international driving privileges; to provide for technical corrections; to authorize
4 establishing reciprocity with Ireland relative to driver's licenses; and to provide for
5 related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 32:404(F)(1) is hereby amended and reenacted and R.S. 32:404(G)
8 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
9 §404. Operation of motor vehicles by nonresidents, students, and military personnel
10 and dependents; reciprocity agreements with foreign countries

12 F.(1) The deputy secretary of public safety services of the Department of
13 Public Safety and Corrections is hereby authorized to promulgate rules and
14 regulations as may be necessary to enter into reciprocity agreements with
15 jurisdictions or agencies in foreign countries or with foreign governments that issue
16 driver's licenses or the equivalent.
