1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 56:324, relative to menhaden; to provide restrictions and
3 requirements applicable to commercial menhaden catch; and to provide for related
4 matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 56:324 is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 §324. Menhaden seines; restrictions
8 Anyone No person legally taking menhaden shall not have in their
9 possession more than five percent, by weight, of any species of fish other than
10 menhaden and herring-like species.
