1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:1231.1(A)(2), relative to medical malpractice; to define
3 authority for purposes of medical malpractice; and to provide for related matters.
4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. R.S. 40:1231.1(A)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
6 §1231.1. Definitions and general applications
7 A. As used in this Part:

9 (2) "Authority" means the Residual Malpractice Insurance Authority
10 established under Section 1231.7 R.S. 40:1231.7.
