2 To enact R.S. 11:1732(14)(a)(xiv), relative to participation in the Municipal Employees'
3 Retirement System of Louisiana; to provide for an additional employer in the
4 system; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters.
5 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 11:1732(14)(a)(xiv) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
8 §1732. Definitions
9 The following words and phrases, as used in this Chapter, unless a different
10 meaning is plainly required by the context, shall have the following meanings:

12 (14)(a) "Employer" or "participating employer" shall mean:

16 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
17 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
