A RESOLUTION
To commend Reverend Eradly Ben Sr. on his Golden Jubilee celebration.
WHEREAS, Reverend Eradly Ben Sr. has demonstrated a lifetime of devotion to
ministry, having served as a beacon of light, hope, and compassion to his congregation and
the broader Ville Platte community; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Ben is recognized as the oldest active Baptist Pastor in the
city of Ville Platte, where he continuously brings spiritual nourishment and stability to
generations of families; and
WHEREAS, with sixty-two years at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church and fifty years at
Antioch Baptist Church, Reverend Ben's many years of service are a testament to his
steadfast commitment to his community; and
WHEREAS, alongside his beloved wife, First Lady Lois Ben, Reverend Ben has
uplifted countless lives through his ministry, exemplifying the values of love, humility, and
selfless service; and
WHEREAS, the occasion of Reverend Ben's Golden Jubilee celebration is not only
to remember the remarkable fifty years of pastoral leadership at Antioch Baptist Church, but
to also serve as a reflection of his lifelong impact, deeply rooted in faith and community.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Reverend Eradly Ben Sr. on his Golden Jubilee celebration and for
his decades of devoted ministry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Reverend Eradly Ben Sr.
