SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 85

A RESOLUTION
To recognize Tuesday, April 21, 2026, as Wholesalers Day at the Louisiana State Capitol
and to commend the Louisiana Association of Wholesalers for its contributions to
the economy and residents of Louisiana.
WHEREAS, wholesalers play a critical role in Louisiana's economy by serving as
the essential link between manufacturers and retailers, ensuring the efficient and reliable
distribution of goods throughout the state; and
WHEREAS, the Louisiana Association of Wholesalers represents a broad network
of businesses that support local economies, create jobs, and contribute significantly to the
economic strength and stability of Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, members of the Louisiana Association of Wholesalers are committed
to maintaining high standards of service, professionalism, and integrity while supporting
businesses and communities across the state; and
WHEREAS, wholesalers help ensure that essential goods, including food, beverages,
medical supplies, and other necessities, are delivered safely and efficiently to communities
throughout Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, Wholesalers Day at the Louisiana State Capitol provides an opportunity
to recognize the dedication and contributions of those in the wholesale industry and to
highlight their importance to the continued prosperity of Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to recognize Tuesday, April 21, 2026, as
Wholesalers Day at the Louisiana State Capitol and to honor and commend the Louisiana
Association of Wholesalers for its valuable service.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby recognize Tuesday, April 21, 2026, as Wholesalers Day at the Louisiana State
Capitol and does hereby commend the Louisiana Association of Wholesalers for its
exemplary contributions to the state and its citizens.
