1Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2Sec. 1. 23 MRSA §7016 is enacted to read:
3§7016. Two-person crews
4 A train or light engine used in connection with the movement of freight may not be
5 operated unless it has a crew consisting of at least 2 persons other than persons providing
6 hostler services or utility services.
7SUMMARY
8 This bill requires that a freight train be operated by at least 2 persons.8
