1Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2Sec. 1. 23 MRSA §76 is enacted to read:
3§76. Awarding of discretionary grants
4 The department shall consider a municipality's past actions and future plans toward
5 meeting regional housing production goals as described in Title 5, section 13056,
6 subsection 9 when considering the award of discretionary grants.
7SUMMARY
8 This bill requires the Department of Transportation to consider a municipality's past
9 actions and future plans toward meeting regional housing production goals when
10 considering the award of discretionary grants.
