1Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2Sec. 1. 8 MRSA §1220 is enacted to read:
3§1220. Jurisdiction
4 Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, jurisdiction over sports wagering
5 conducted in person on the property of a facility operator is vested solely in the Gambling
6 Control Board established in section 1002.
7SUMMARY
8 This bill provides that jurisdiction over sports wagering conducted in person on the
9 property of a facility operator is vested solely in the Department of Public Safety, Gambling
10 Control Board.
